ACNET

Audio Communication Network Turn your sound card into a network adapter. An acoustic internet built for off-grid telecommunication.

Acnet is an in-browser system that uses 4-FSK/2-FSK and SSTV (PD290) over an audio channel. The first of its kind—an inexpensive and simplified HTTPS-over-sound solution. Envisioned to help during internet blackouts, it works like a tactical communication network. Plug and play analog packet radio. Just open ACNET.html with any device that supports Edge Browser. Tested on windows 10 and windows 11. (Tested on a Xbox one S and it is working). Designed to work with terrible equipement and high end equipement with a reasonable max speed of 200 Bauds on 4fsk. You have a friend somewhere that you can phone and he really needs internet? You have a loved one and you want to see each other? Now it's possible!

LEGAL DISCLAIMER:Acnet has more than amateur radio in mind and thats why you should acknowledge local laws before using it. The author will not liable for damage and does not encourage criminality. If someone uses ACNET in a relay configuration to re-broadcast internet content, the liability for that content falls entirely on the user. The bearer of the file are the ones deciding what to transmit, just as a file-sharing software's developer isn't liable for the files users choose to share. Encrypting communications is prevented by the IEEE and FCC, Etc. Using High volume during your transmission can interfere with other channels.
