SCP-1226 (?)
SCP-1226 is a large oil painting depicting a nuclear bomb exploding over a city, rendered with extreme detail. When a person views the entire painting in person, they undergo a rapid and painful transformation over 40 seconds, becoming a hunched, ape-like creature with significantly reduced brain mass and mental capacity. These altered individuals become violent and are only capable of basic instinctual behaviors like feeding and mating. To contain it, the painting is kept in a chamber with a black plastic square covering part of it, and only D-class personnel are allowed to view it uncovered for testing, after which they are terminated due to their aggressive post-exposure state.
101 Uses for a Dead Cat (?)
"101 Uses for a Dead Cat" is a popular 1981 collection of black comedy cartoons by Simon Bond, which became a global bestseller and sold over 2 million copies. The book humorously depicts various macabre and absurd uses for dead cats, such as anchoring boats or sharpening pencils. Despite receiving some criticism for obscenity and sadism, its success was linked to a larger "cat craze" in popular culture during that era, and it spawned sequels and related merchandise.
