qrbake is a free, browser-based QR code generator. It runs entirely client-side, so the data encoded into codes (URLs, Wi-Fi credentials, vCards, etc.) never leaves the user's browser.

Why it's awesome

  • Privacy-respecting: nothing is uploaded — generation happens in the browser via the qr-code-styling library, so encoded payloads stay local.
  • Visual customization: dot styles, corner-square shapes, eye-ball shapes, color gradients, and an embedded logo, all from one UI.
  • Multi-format: URL, Wi-Fi, vCard, email, SMS, location, WhatsApp, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook — each format has its own purpose-built form so users don't have to remember the encoding syntax.
  • Bulk generator: paste a CSV of URLs, download a ZIP of PNGs.
  • Reader included: upload a photo or screenshot and decode any QR.
  • Free, no signup, no watermark, no third-party trackers.

The entry is added under a new ### Generators subsection of ## Apps, parallel to the existing ### Readers and ### File Transfer.
