Feature Description

❓ Problem Statement

The current UI of the Recode Hive platform has several visual and navigation inconsistencies that reduce the overall professionalism and user experience of the website.

Section icons appear similar to default messaging-style emojis instead of clean professional UI icons. Additionally, blog heading typography appears oversized, affecting readability and visual balance.

The "Join Recode Hive Community" button currently redirects users to the GitHub page instead of the actual Discord community, creating confusion for users trying to join the community platform.

In the blogs pages the size of fonts are larger than it should be

The overall interface can also be improved through better spacing, alignment, and component organization to create a cleaner and more modern learning platform experience.

πŸš€ Proposed Enhancement

Improve the UI/UX consistency and professionalism of the platform by:

  • replacing emoji-like icons with modern professional icons
  • reducing oversized blog heading font sizes
  • redirecting the community button to the official Discord server
  • improving spacing, alignment, and layout organization
  • refining section hierarchy for better readability
  • enhancing overall visual consistency across pages

These improvements will make the platform feel more polished, modern, and user-friendly for developers and learners.

πŸ› οΈ Suggested Implementation

Potential implementation steps:

  • Replace current emoji-based icons with scalable SVG/icon-library based components
  • Adjust typography scale for blog headings and text sections
  • Update community button/link routing to Discord invite URL
  • Improve padding, margins, and layout consistency across sections
  • Refactor card/grid alignment for cleaner UI structure
  • Optimize responsive behavior for desktop and mobile devices
  • Standardize fonts, icon sizes, and section spacing

Potential files involved:

  • navbar/footer components
  • blog section components
  • icon assets/components
  • routing/navigation configuration
  • global CSS/theme styling files
  • responsive layout styles
