I note that most of the README.md and index.rst have been written almost 10 years ago, when the project was still in an alpha stage. I wonder if all the information is still up-to-date and if some paragraphs shouldn't be updated to reflect the current state of this project. Since at it, the troves classifier in setup.py still is "Alpha", maybe it should also be updated.
To me, as h11 is now the backbone of several high-stakes libraries, the "Should I use it?" section feels really odd.
I can offer to try and refresh the text via a PR, you tell me.
