Unable to create a configuration file named `Pest.php`

Installing the pest on Laravel 10.x version by following the documentation: https://pestphp.com/docs/installation

• ✅ Installed the pest successfully
  

• ❌ Unable to generate the config file by ./vendor/bin/pest --init command:
  

Further Investigation:

Check the available options: vendor/bin/pest --help | grep "init"

No --init option found:

13th May 2025, and this is still a problem. No --init flag as the documentation states.
