Exact step by step walk through of generating Dash docs

I know dashing exists, but I feel like the folks that I've talked to all get caught up in something which prevents them from releasing documentation.

I wonder if there's a way to make this easier on everybody including an exact step by step walkthrough of something.

Also, I have been considering porting dashing to node and letting users install it globally npm install -g dashing so there's a lower barrier to entry
