I've analyzed this issue and here's my proposed implementation plan:

Problem: When the webview crashes due to excessive memory usage from large context, the ErrorBoundary component catches the error but provides no way to recover. The user sees an error screen (or a white screen if it's an unhandled crash) with no actionable buttons -- the only option is to restart VS Code entirely.

Proposed changes to webview-ui/src/components/ErrorBoundary.tsx:

1. Add a "New Task" button to the error fallback UI that sends a clearTask message to the extension via vscode.postMessage({ type: "clearTask" }), then resets the ErrorBoundary state. This lets users start a fresh task without restarting VS Code.

2. Add a "Retry" button that resets the ErrorBoundary's error state (this.setState({ error: undefined, componentStack: undefined })), allowing the component tree to re-render. This helps in cases where the error was transient.

3. Add a "Copy Error" button to make it easier for users to copy error details when filing bug reports, improving the UX of the error screen.

4. Add tests for the new recovery buttons to ensure they work correctly.

This approach directly addresses the user's request: "It is hoped that the screen can automatically recover after the white screen or that the task chat window for restarting Roo can be added." The "New Task" button provides the restart capability, and the "Retry" button provides the recovery path.
