Code Is the Answer.
But I'm More Interested in the Question.

👋 Hi, I'm RollingTheRock.
A sophomore CS student at ZUEL 📍 I build systems in Rust, Python, C, Go, and TypeScript — previously a full-stack engineer at Simen 💼 where I learned that going deep into the machinery beats going wide in the age of AI.
Currently reimplementing the foundational bricks of modern engineering — vector databases, HTTP browsers, shells, and more — not because the world needs another one, but because understanding how things really work is the only way to build things that last.

🔭 Currently
My main project is a Vector-Native KV Store + Protocol Runtime, serving as the foundation for a concurrent work-tree agent orchestration TUI. It's my attempt to make multi-agent systems feel like operating a well-designed terminal rather than managing chaos.
My research sits at the intersection of data ownership, compute sharing, and distributed systems — thinking about how value flows when data stays local but intelligence travels.
🏀 Beyond Code
When I'm not writing code, I play basketball (spent two years chasing semi-pro — now it's my weekly ritual to sweat out the stress and clear my head). My playlist rotates between Pink Floyd, Queen, and the occasional J-Pop rabbit hole. My bookshelf still holds the complete works of Yu Hua, Mo Yan, Chen Zhongshi, Liang Shiqiu, Yu Qiuyu, and Eileen Chang — a collection built during high school, when my desk mate and I would buy books in turns and swap them until we'd read nearly everything.
👯 Open To
I'm actively looking for collaborations on agent systems and open to internships in systems engineering, AI infrastructure, or distributed systems. Let's build something that runs close to the metal.
