research vs projects

Hi folks,

1. Under the "Research" drop-down, we have this seemingly arbitrary distinction between "projects" (CAPT, Cloud feedbacks, and APE) with the "research" topics (D&A, Metrics, and Climate Model Diagnosis). Can we just consolidate these all into one "research" category (and lose the horizontal line separating them in the drop-down)?
2. Do we need APE to be part of this anymore?
3. Can we add Cloud feedbacks and CAPT to the Research Overview page? (I already did a pull request for cloud feedbacks to be added)
