We may want to consider to create a central/uniform mpl config file that then we use for all the notebooks.
Currently, some of the notebooks have a very extensive rc declaration at the top, while other notebooks use seaborn, and etc. I would consider a uniform look would be nice, as well as then there would be less boilerplate fluff in individual notebooks, but I have not considered how much effort it would be to make that look.
